SolusVM OpenNMS Template
Requirements: 10GB Virtual Storage allocated to the virtual machine plan.
Scripts
All of our automation scripts are located in /usr/local/touchvps
SolusVM Details:
- Template Size: 3.3 GB
Add template to your SolusVM Control Panel
- Login to your SolusVM Master Node via ssh.
- Use the command: touch /home/solusvm/kvm/template/linux-debian-11-x86_64-gen2-v1-opennms.gz (only use this command if your control panel doesn't store the templates)
- If your control panel is the node as well, then upload the template in the folder /home/solusvm/kvm/template/
- Go SolusVM Web Control panel
- Click on the Media Menu
- Click Add KVM Templates
- On the Name field type: Debian 11 - OpenNMS
- On the Description box type:
OpenNMS is a free and open-source Open Network Management System written in Java. It is a network monitoring application that gathers critical information from local and network hosts using the SNPM protocol. It can be installed on Linux and Windows operating systems and provides a web-based interface to monitor network traffics through a web browser. It offers a rich set of features including, Provisioning, Service Monitoring, Event Management, Charting support and Performance Measurement.
Space required: 10 GB

- Select 2 on the Generation drop-down list
- Template: select your template from the drop-down list: linux-debian-11-x86_64-gen2-v1-opennms.gz
- Arch: select x86_64
- Disk Driver select: virtio
- Root/Admin password type: Leave blank
- Partition # to Resize enter: 1
- Swap Partition # to Resize enter: 2
